Sean was born and bred in South Africa. After completing his BVSc degree at the University of Pretoria in 2011 he began his career as a Poultry Consultant in January 2012. From then on he consulted extensively to broiler, broiler breeder and commercial layer operations throughout the Southern African region. Here he honed his skills in disease control and bird management.
He is principally interested in gaining the maximal efficiency out of modern genotypes, and he does this by translating advances in veterinary and poultry science into practical on farm solutions.
Sean is Regional Vet Lead for the East of the England and heads up the game bird vet team in Norfolk, Suffolk and Lincolnshire.
