Carla McSloy graduated from University of Ulster where she gained a BSc (Hons) degree in Biotechnology. She started her career in Quality Control for Norbrook Pharmaceuticals, before moving into the food industry where she worked for 8 years before joining St David’s Dungannon in April 2014.
Carla is responsible for inputting all laboratory reports and has regular correspondence with outside laboratories. She also conducts various laboratory work including worm egg counts, bacteriology and water testing. She also helps dispense medicine in Dungannon’s busy dispensary and gained AMTRA – A (SQP) qualification in June 2015. Carla also played an integral part in the opening and setting up of St David’s Ballymena which opened for business in July 2015.
